TUBITAK Award
Dr. Yusuf Altintas received the highest science and engineering academic award from TUBITAK (The Scientific and Technological Research Council of Turkey) for his internationally recognized academic contributions to the field of metal cutting, machine tool vibrations and machine tool control. He received the medal from the President of Turkey, and donated the $25,000 cash award to needy university students in his hometown.
