Dynamic Process Tuning
The aim of this analysis is to find the high performance cutting speeds for each tool-tool holder set that is used in a particular machine.
Every particular combination of machine, tool holder and cutting tool has specific stable speed values that permit the deepest cuts and heaviest metal removal when “dynamically tuned”.
On-site testing performed by an MAL Inc. engineer will help determine resonant frequencies of your machine-tool-tool holder set. Using software tools developed by MAL Inc., we will analyze collected data and construct productivity charts to identify the cutting conditions and to realize machine’s full efficiency.
Upon receiving the productivity charts, you will be able to select new cutting conditions during process planning to maximize production by eliminating tool breakage, scrap parts and machine failure.
