SCHOLARSHIP FUND FOR MANUFACTURING ENGINEERING GRADUATE STUDENTS

Prof. Y. Altintas has initiated a scholarship fund for students who will study metal cutting mechanics, machine tool vibrations, machine tool control, CAM and precision machine design. The core funds have already been contributed by MAL Manufacturing Automation Laboratory Inc., Apply Zeta and ITRI from Taiwan. Former alumni have already started to contribute generously, and UBC has opened a trust account.
